Maple Bread Pudding

• 2 cups day-old bread (cubed)
• 2 cups hot milk
• 1 beaten egg
• ½ cup sugar
• 1 pinch nutmeg
• Seedless raisons

Soak bread for 10 minutes in hot milk.

Beat egg with sugar and nutmeg and add to bread and milk.

Add raisons if desired. Pour over greased oven-proof pan.

BAKE AT 350ºF until set and browned. Serve with maple syrup.
