Maple Roasted Chicken
- 1 fresh chicken, or legs, or breast
- Salt, pepper, parsley, savory and paprika
- Maple syrup
- Water and ketchup
Season poultry on all sides with spices.
Place in a roasting pan and pour on a small quantity of maple syrup.
Cover with aluminum foil and BAKE AT 350ºF for 1 hour.
Uncover chicken and baste frequently with pan juices during the last half hour of cooking. When the chicken is cooked, add a little water and ketchup to the pan juices to make gravy. Serve chicken and gravy with potatoes and side vegetables.
