Delivery dates
All baskets and chocolate orders are prepared and dispatched from our Ontario office.
During peak periods such as Christmas, we recommend all orders be made well in advance to ensure receipt.
For wedding and christening orders, we have provided a guideline next to each product to assist ordering; however, we recommend you make contact with us 3 to 6 months prior to your event.
Sweet Creations takes particular care in ensuring your package arrives promptly and in perfect condition.
We offer ground shipping (arrives in 3-7 business days), air shipping (arrives in 2-3 business days) and overnight delivery. Saturday shipping is also available to most locations. Below you will find information most commonly requested regarding our shipping policies and rates.
Shipping Rates:
Payment in full is required prior to delivery of orders.
Shipping charges are automatically calculated based on your location and will be displayed on your check-out screen.
SHIPPING TO MULTIPLE RECIPIENTS
For multiple recipient shipping, shipping rates are per address.
SATURDAY DELIVERY
Add $20.00 to the ground shipping price for Saturday deliveries (where available). We will notify you if aturday delivery is not available in your area.
ACCEPTING DELIVERY
A signature will be required to accept receipt of goods. A ‘calling card’ will be left if you are not home to accept your order on the day of delivery by courier.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS
Delivery to most countries can be arranged, however, please contact Sweet Creations for more information and for shipping rates. Please include the item(s) you would like to ship, the address and country code. We will respond within 48 hours.
HOW AND WHEN WE SHIP
Orders received prior to 12:00pm EST will be shipped the same day unless the item requires a lead-time or a specific delivery date has been requested. Orders received after 12:00pm EST, over a weekend or on a holiday will be processed on the next business day. Please note that we may not choose to ship chocolate orders or perishable items over the weekend in order to ensure freshness that may otherwise be compromised should that item sit in a warehouse over the weekend. For this reason, we do not guarantee Monday deliveries on these items. Please refer to our warm weather shipping policy below.
WARM WEATHER SHIPPING
At Sweet Creations, we would like our products to arrive in perfect condition and for our customers to be 100% satisfied. One way we achieve this goal is in taking special care in shipping chocolates and other perishable products to warm locations or during warm seasons. From May 1 – October 1 and year round warm weather destinations, we require chocolate and other perishable products to ship 2/3 day air or overnight. To further protect the freshness and integrity of these products, they will be packaged with a reusable cold pack that keeps the product cool up to 48 hours.
A $4.00 surcharge for special packaging will be added to your order. Since most packages are delivered during normal business hours, please make every effort to provide a delivery address and phone number where the recipient will be at that time. We are not responsible for items that are not personally received or left unattended in warm weather.
DIFFERENT SHIPPING DATES
Shipping charges for shopping cart items that have different lead-times or availability will be charged on the total amount of the order in the shopping cart, even though items may ship separately.
DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ORDERS
If your package is damaged during shipment, please contact the carrier directly or notify Sweet Creations within 5 days for assistance. Once the package has left Sweet Creations, the responsibility and ownership of the product has transferred to the shipping company and customer. Therefore, if any damage occurs during transit, claims are an issue between the shipping company and customer. We value our customer relationship and will work with you to resolve these claims. Note that many shipping companies require the original box to be kept until the claim is settled. Please review your order carefully before submitting. Sweet Creations can not be responsible for inaccurate delivery addresses or phone numbers. If your order is in unsatisfactory condition or ais incorrectly sent, contact Sweet Creations within 5 days of receipt and based on the original order information, we will be happy to give you a replacement or full refund.
RETURN POLICY
Most of our products are made to order and can not be returned for a refund. Sweet Creations will not accept returns of unwanted goods, opened food items or perishable goods such as chocolate truffles nor are returns possible on specially designed or assembled wedding, special occasion, christening or corporate goods (eg. decorative boxes with contents and ribbon).
For damaged and faulty goods, please note the following instructions for return.

3. A refund of the purchase price of the damaged goods will be made upon receipt of returned items and return delivery charges (original delivery charges are not refundable).
